The Second Saturday Science series at the Sequim Library, 630 N. Sequim Ave., offers Robot Garage from 10:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 12.
Second Saturday Science — for ages 7-12 — creates fun, hands-on opportunities for children to explore concepts related to science, technology, engineering and math (STEM).
The January session is a special two-hour program offered by the Museum of Flight. In Robot Garage, participants use robotics kits to explore the engineering skills required to build a successful extraterrestrial rover. The history and latest achievements of robots will also be discussed.
This program is free to attend, but with class sizes limited registration is required. To register, visit the Sequim Library events calendar at www.nols.org, call the library at 360-683-1161 or email to youth@nols.org. All materials will be provided.
This program is supported by the Friends of Sequim Library.
