2nd Friday Art Rock is for lovers. At 8 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 14, musicians Howly Slim and Sandy Summers (below) and artist Trey Hensley visit Bar N9NE, 229 W. First St., Port Angeles. Slim and Summers play heart-felt original compositions. They began playing as a duo about a year and a half ago after discovering at a local song circle that they knew and loved a lot of the same tunes. They began with some of these and began adding originals until now that’s almost all they do. They are accompanied by bassist the Raindance Kid. Hensley describes Port Angeles as “the most beautiful and inviting city in America.” He is described as having a “unique ability to get close to wildlife without them knowing, letting him capture unique shots.” At 2FAR, he will set up a photo booth for “lovers.” Submitted photo
