Sequim chorus to sing ‘Hallelujah’

The Sequim Community Christmas Chorus will present its 29th Annual Christmas Concert at 7:30 p.m., Friday-Saturday, Dec. 6-7, and 2 p.m. Sunday Dec. 8, at Sequim Seventh-day Adventist Church, 30 Sanford Lane, Sequim. Tickets are now on sale for $5 each at Pacific Mist Books, Bauer Interior Design and the Chamber Visitors Center in Sequim and at Elliott’s Antique Emporium in Port Angeles. Children under 12 will be admitted free.  Tickets will be available at the door only if space allows.

A portion of proceeds from ticket sales will be donated to Sequim Community Aid and to the Shipley Center (formerly Sequim Senior Center) to pay for low income seniors’ membership fees. The program will include time-honored hymns such as the “Hallelujah” chorus from Handel’s “Messiah” and “Peace, Peace,” along with a variety of sacred Christmas music.
