The Sequim City Band once again takes its community concerts indoors this fall and winter for a trio of shows with special guests and symphonic concert band music.

All shows are free and start at 3 p.m.

This year’s schedule includes:

• Sunday, Nov. 5, at the Port Angeles High School auditorium (304 E Park Ave.); special guests include the Navy Band Northwest Brass Quintet

• Sunday, Dec. 17, at the Sequim High School auditorium, 533 N. Sequim Ave.; the band hosts its annual Christmas Concert.

• Sunday, March 11, 2018, at the Sequim High School auditorium, 533 N. Sequim Ave.

Musicians interested in playing with this all-volunteer concert band are invited to attend a rehearsal.

Rehearsals are at 7 p.m. each Wednesday (except Dec. 20, Dec. 27 and Jan. 3) at Swisher Hall, The James Center for the Performing Arts, 350 N. Blake Ave. Enter the north section of Carrie Blake Park at the N. Fir St. intersection and following the signs to The James Center.

Members of the band are from Sequim, Port Angeles, Port Townsend, Port Hadlock and all points between.
