Sequim groups set holiday bazaars

The Sequim Guild of Seattle Children’s Hospital is hosting its 17th-annual Holiday Bazaar from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 19, at the Sequim Prairie Grange, 290 Macleay Road.

Attendees will see bargains and treasures for the holiday season in the Guild Room, homemade by Guild members.

Additionally, there will be 35-plus local handcraft artists, and “Mrs. Claus’ Kitchen” serving chili, turkey-noodle soup, quiche with salad, homemade desserts, and more.

All profits go to Seattle Children’s Hospital’s funds for uncompensated care and research. Last year, Children’s provided over $1.6 million in uncompensated care and services to 1,125 Clallam and Jefferson County children.

DVLC sets annual bazaar

Knitwear, kitchen linens and whimsical potholders are a sample of what Sequim’s Dungeness Valley Lutheran Church crafters are preparing for their Yuletide Bazaar, set for 9 a.m.-3 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 18, at 925 N. Sequim Ave.

The sale of Scandinavian treats and other desserts are expected to again be the most popular purchases in the first hour. Coffee and pastries will be served all morning, with lunch available from 11 a.m.-1 p.m.

Proceeds from the bazaar are always all donated to area nonprofits, particularly those serving women, children and veterans.
