Sequim High plant sale blooms this week

From alysum to zinnias, marigold and mint, and from seven styles of petunias to parsley, pineapple sage, rosemary and thyme, Sequim High School’s annual plant sale is bringing back some of the community’s favorites.

This time, the sale is going virtual.

The sale that began May 1 and runs through Sunday, May 10, asks customers make their purchases via order sheets available at www.face book.com/SequimSchools.

There, customers fill out a questionnaire along with their desired plants and schedule a pick-up time.

Completed forms go to Steve Mahitka at smahitka@sequimschools.org; pick-up dates are May 6-9 at Sequim High School’s greenhouse at 601 N. Sequim Ave.

Staff will be on hand to coordinate and load cars; because there may be multiple customers on site at the same time, they are asked to stay in their vehicles.
