Sequim Library offers spring break activities

Looking for entertainment for the children during spring break? The staff at the Sequim Library offer three different drop-in activities, set for 2-4 p.m. Monday, Wednesday and Friday during spring break (April 1-5).

All children are welcome at these drop-in activities, though youths under 8 years of age must be accompanied by a parent.

On Monday, April 1, check out fun games of all kinds, including both board games and active games.

Wednesday, April 3 is LEGO free play — a space for imagination with buckets of LEGO bricks provided along with books for instructions and ideas.

On Friday, April 5, youngsters and families can enjoy a showing of the movie “Big Hero 6,” complete with snacks. The PG-rated Disney animated film is an action-packed comedy adventure that introduces Baymax, “a lovable, personal companion robot, who forms a special bond with robotics prodigy Hiro Hamada.” When a devastating turn of events catapults them into the midst of a dangerous plot unfolding in the streets of San Fransokyo, Hiro turns to Baymax and his diverse group of friends.

This program is supported by Friends of Sequim Library.
