Sequim Open Aire Market

Sequim Open Aire Market

Saturdays 10 a.m.-2 p.m. and Wednesdays noon-6 p.m. on the corner of Sequim Avenue and Washington Street

by LISA BRIDGE

Market manager

Welcome to our new fall and winter hours and location. The Sequim Open Aire Market is jazzed to be nestling into our downtown location for this extended season. Just to keep things clear, next May we will resume our Saturday market on Cedar Street as usual (only better and better all the time). Please note that the Saturday hours are a bit shorter so we don’t chill our vendors too severely on the cooler days ahead.

What is new at the market this week is another “first” for the market this year – extending our season using this new site. We are grateful to John Junnell for encouraging us to use this location.

We have often heard, “Wow, I didn’t know you were here on Wednesday.” Well get ready for Saturdays. Hopefully more and more of the Sequim community will come to know the bounty that is available here year-round. The produce will be abundant throughout the year so come down and learn all about it.

Many of our crafters are delighted to continue their season. You can expect to find some beautiful pottery, folk art, hand-sewn jackets, hats and knitted wear, recycled furniture and lovely planters for inside or out of the home, just to name a few. We also are thrilled that Jose’s Famous Salsa will keep on giving into the cooler weather with their warming, savory salsa.

Come down for a hot cup of coffee and a pastry from Bell Street Bakery to take in what is new in downtown Sequim.

As always, we are so

grateful for your participation in your local market – keep it local!

See you at the market.
