Sequim Irrigation Festival’s royalty and their float won some sweet accolades — the Shortcake Award — on June 18 at the Marysville Strawberry Festival. On hand for the award were, from left, princess Lauren Willis, queen Isabella Williams, princess Katherine Gould, and princess Ellie Turner. They’ll continue representing Sequim in events through the summer, including Forks Old Fashioned Fourth of July and Port Angeles’ Fourth of July Parade, the McCleary Bear Festival on July 9, and more.
