GREYWOLF ELEMENTARY SCHOOL

Grewyolf Elementary would like to thank McCrorie Carpet One and Dave and Julie McCrorie for a generous donation. Kindergarten teachers Mrs. Catelli and Mrs. Hall received a nice new place for students to sit on during “carpet time.”

HELEN HALLER ELEMENTARY SCHOOL

Are you interested in tutoring students in reading? Come to a tutor training from 3:15-4:15 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 2, or Tuesday, Oct. 9, in the Haller library. For more information, email Betsy Smith at bsmith@sequimschools.org.

Helen Haller Elementary welcomed the Class of 2031 for the first day of kindergarten on Sept. 10. In their first week, students learned a lot about each other and the school. They read kindergarten classics such as “Miss Bindergarten gets ready for Kindergarten” and “Pete the Cat,” and followed the alphabet in “Chicka Chicka Boom Boom.”

Kindergartners met with their specialists, learned how to visit the cafeteria and about the rules of the school.

“We know it’s going to be a great school year and we’re so happy to have our new kinders here ready to learn,” teachers said.
