Sequim’s Shipley Center will be offering a bus ride to and from Port Townsend’s world renowned Wooden Boat Festival this coming weekend.

Tickets are available to both members and non-members.

The Shipley bus will depart the center’s parking lot at 9 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 9, returning to Sequim between 3-5 p.m.

Beth Barrett, the Shipley Center’s tour director, points out that the Wooden Boat Festival is only one of many diversions available to bus passengers.

“Aside from enjoying all the fascinating boats and ‘boatie’ people that the festival draws, the Port Townsend farmers market also will be open. Just walking the downtown is a pleasure — great shops, restaurants and coffee places everywhere.”

Tickets for members are $23, non-members $26. This does not include entry to the Wooden Boat Festival which is $15-$20.
