Soroptimists’ seventh-annual gala gift show set for Saturday

Join Sequim Soroptimists for a festive and elegant shopping experience at their seventh-annual Gala Gift Show from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 1, at the Sequim Boys & Girls Club, 400 West Fir Street, Sequim.

Hosted by Soroptimist International of Sequim, the show features more than 50 vendors offering unique items including clothing, jewelry and accessories, home décor, culinary and food items, health and beauty merchandise, pet products, books, artwork and photography, plus much more.

This year, for the first time, the Gala Gift Show features a wine garden and live musical performances.

The event also features raffles, hearty soup in the cafe and holiday-wrapped See’s Candies.

The Gala Gift Show is one of the Soroptimists’ major fundraisers; proceeds from the event are used to fund educational grants and to support local organizations and activities committed to “improving the lives of women and girls through programs leading to social and economic empowerment.

Attendees are urged to come early, as many vendors’ products and home-baked items sell out quickly.

Admission and parking are free.

In 2017, more than 800 people attended the one-day event.

For more information and a list of the 2018 vendors, visit the Sequim Soroptimist Gala Gift Show website at galagiftshow.com.
