Summer Science Series ready to launch at library

The Sequim Library, 630 N. Sequim Ave., hosts a trio of fun Friday activities with the 2018 Summer Science sessions.

Held from 10:30 a.m.-noon on July 13, July 27 and Aug. 10, the series see teen volunteers sparking youths’ imaginations with science experiments that give participants an opportunity to explore scientific concepts.

Summer Science sessions, designed to be educational, entertaining and fun, is a drop-in program for ages 4-12.

The goal, program organizers say, is to help youngsters “build a sense of confidence, wonder and curiosity about the world around them through these hands-on activities.”
