The Sequim Library kicks off its fourth annual Summertime Music! outdoor concert series at 6 p.m. Friday, July 25, with lively tunes from folk-grass band Good Machine. Bring a picnic, blankets and chairs, and sit back, relax or boogie down while enjoying some local music.

Good Machine is a traveling Pacific Northwest trio featuring Cole Gibson on banjo and guitar, Hayden Pomeroy on upright bass and Taylor Thomas on cello. Together they blend folk, bluegrass and old-time influences.

There will be four opportunities to enjoy live music at the Sequim Library this summer. Following Good Machine on July 25, the library offers the electric violin stylings of Geoffrey Castle on Aug. 8, a community contra dance for all ages on Aug. 22 and rockabilly and blues band Soul Ducks on Sept. 12.

All concerts will take place on the outdoor stage behind the Sequim Library from 6-8 p.m. In the case of inclement weather, the show takes place inside the library.
