M.E. Bartholomew presents a workshop titled “Using Love to Improve Your Life” at the second Tuesday Featured Speaker Series sponsored by Sequim’s Toastmasters Club.
The event is 7-8:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 9, at at The Gathering Place in Sunland, 135 Fairway Drive.
Originally scheduled for February, Bartholomew’s appearance had to be rescheduled following a severe winter storm.
The event is free and open to the public. Preregistration is requested at LoveImprovesLife.eventbrite.com.
In the workshop, Bartholomew offers “practical solutions to calm oneself and to create new neuro-pathways for quicker inner access to love and compassion,” club members say.
“My goal is for people to leave the workshop with a clearer understanding of what they can do, moment to moment, to create a more harmonious experience for themselves,” Bartholomew said. “These are practical ways to transform stress … and experience more love in your life.”
A Port Angeles resident, Bartholomew is an Eden Energy Medicine Clinical Practitioner, certified since 2012. She works with people to help balance energies and to assist the body in returning to a healthy state.
Bartholomew is on the Leadership Council for the Interfaith Community. She is active with the Compassion Campaign for Clallam County and a founding member and leader of the Peace Choir of Clallam County.
“Everyone wants peace and love,” Bartholomew laughs. “But not everyone knows how to make that happen in the context of daily life. My journey has taught me a lot about that. I’m eager to share what I’ve learned with others.”
