U.S. Bank aids United Way

The United Way of Clallam County accepts a donation for $3,916 from the U.S. Bank Foundation. Pictured, Lisa Meyer and Chris Benson of U.S. Bank present the check to Christy Smith, United Way of Clallam County chief executive officer, and Hayley Pearce, United Way of Clallam County resource development manager. “We are thankful for the continued support of U.S. Bank,” Smith said. “They provide us with volunteers for Day of Caring, donations through their foundation, board and committee members and through their employee campaign.” The goal for the United Way of Clallam County 2017 Campaign is to raise $800,000 to impact health and human service partners in the community. This year Day of Caring projects will be on Friday, Sept. 9, and Monday, Sept. 11. “We are excited to be working with our partners to coordinate volunteer projects for the Day of Caring,” Pearce said. “We will be hosting projects in Sequim, Port Angeles and Forks this year with volunteers from across the county.” For more information about the Day of Caring or UWCC’s campaign, contact United Way of Clallam County at 360-457-3011 or email info@unitedwayclallam.org.
