Volunteer Hospice hosts training

Volunteer Hospice of Clallam County is offering a six-week series on Community Education and Volunteer Training 6-8 p.m. each Wednesday, Sept. 27-Nov. 1, at the Volunteer Hospice House, 810 S. Albert St., Port Angeles.

The series provides a history and overview of hospice and philosophy behind Volunteer Hospice. It also explores grief and the dying process, and offers basic hospice volunteer training for those interested.

The program is free and open to the public but registration is required as group size is limited.

For more information and to register, contact the volunteer services manager at 360-452-1511 or vsm@vhocc.org.
