Women’s Chorale Brings ‘Love’

NorthWest Women’s Chorale’s Annual Spring Concert, “for the love of … runs Friday night.

 

NorthWest Women’s Chorale’s Annual Spring Concert, “for the love of … ”, directed by Joy Lingerfelt with collaborative accompaniment by Kristin Quigley-Brye, will feature music with multiple topics about food, love and nature — from the tiniest bee to the galaxy. A concert in Port Townsend by the choral group Rainshadow — who will be singing one set — is slated for 7 p.m.  Friday, May 1, at Trinity United Methodist Church, 609 Taylor St. A Port Angeles concert features a set by the High School Auditioned Women’s Choir “Belle Voce,” directed by Jolene Dalton Gailey, and is scheduled for 7 p.m. Monday, May 4, at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, 301 Lopez Ave. Admission is a suggested donation of $15.
