Should you sign up for Sigma Trader? Can you really get rich quickly with the Sigma Surges platform? Find out everything you need to know about Sigma Trader and how it works today in our review.

What is Sigma Trader?

Sigma Trader is a financial analysis newsletter led by Dr. Kent Moors. The newsletter is published online through Rogue Investing.

Kent claims to have developed a “physics-based trading technology that doubled his money every 14 days.”

Instead of keeping that get-rich-quick technology to himself and becoming the richest man on the planet, Kent is sharing it with Sigma Trader’s subscribers.

By subscribing to Sigma Trader today, you get access to John’s Sigma Surges trading software, which can purportedly double your money every 2 weeks.

Obviously, it would be best if you were skeptical any time an investment analyst claims to double your money in a short period of time with limited risk. If someone had a trading system that reliably doubled their investment every 14 days, they would be the richest person on the planet within just a few months.

Let’s take a closer look at how Sigma Trader works and how Kent claims to double your money every 14 days.

What Will You Learn in Sigma Trader?

Sigma Trader is a financial newsletter similar to other newsletters sold online today: you pay a fee to subscribe to the newsletter, then receive monthly stock recommendations and analysis.

Each week, Dr. Moors and the Rogue Investing team share their analysis with investors. The team highlights new investment opportunities they believe will provide positive returns to investors.

The Sigma Trader sales page is filled with stories of investors making huge returns by following the Sigma Trader team’s trading recommendations. Some of the advertised returns on the Sigma Trader sales page include:

  • A $500 investment into Mexico Energy turning into $2,000 in 24 hours
  • A $500 investment in Nabors turning into a $3,000 windfall within 5 weeks
  • A $500 investment in Tellurian turning into a $4,500 return in 8 days
  • 424% returns on Key Energy Services
  • Average returns of 104% profit across all trades, along with an accuracy rate of 93%

Dr. Moors claims his average gain from trades is 104%. Following Dr. Moors’ investment advice today, investors could double their money or earn even higher returns.

How Do Sigma Surges Work?

Dr. Moors claims to double his investments every 14 days using a special analysis system called Sigma Surges.

That analysis system uses physics to spot rising companies before they go mainstream. Dr. Moors claims his system is right more often than not, which is why Dr. Moors’ portfolio outperforms even the world’s best hedge funds.

By subscribing to Sigma Trader today, you get access to the Sigma Surges trading system. The software will analyze market information, then tell you where to put your money next. By investing in the recommended stock, you can purportedly make average gains of 104%, safely doubling your money whenever you want to get rich quickly.

Obviously, all of these claims should be taken with a large grain of salt. Even the world’s best hedge funds do not claim to double your money in a short period of time. These types of exponential gains are unheard of in the investment space.

So what’s the secret to Dr. Moors’ technology? How does Sigma Surges work?

Dr. Moors claims his Sigma Surges proprietary trading software uses physics to predict the next biggest stocks to rise and fall.

How Much Money Can You Make with Sigma Surges?

The Sigma Trader sales page is filled with investors’ stories generating huge returns on their investments by following the team’s advice and using the Sigma Surges software.

image13

Here’s how the company explains its success rate using the Sigma Surges software:

“In less than 4 months, this System nailed down 139 trades – 129 of them were winners – that’s an accuracy of 93%…But here’s what’s truly stunning – 44 of these were triple-digit wins. We’re talking about potentially doubling your money every 3 days.”

Dr. Moors claims his proprietary trading software has “an average gain of 104%” based on a short trading period from May to August.

During that period, Dr. Moors’ trading software identified 139 trades with the potential to earn huge returns for investors.

image12

Of those 139 trades, 129 were winners, which means 93% of trades generated positive returns for investors. 44 of those trades were triple-digit gains, while investors lost money in just 10 days.

Dr. Moors claims his personal account gained an average of “$7,608 per day” while following the trades recommended by his system.

image11

For all of these reasons, Sigma Trader describes Sigma Surges as a “93% accurate physics-based trading technology” that could double your money “every 14 days.”

How Does Sigma Surges Use Physics to Predict Trades?

Dr. Kent Moors’ Sigma Surges system uses physics to spot the best trades to make. He claims to make $8,000 per day using his trading system, comfortably doubling his money every 14 days whenever he feels like getting rich.

It’s unclear what type of physics experience Dr. Moors has if any. According to his LinkedIn page, Dr. Moors has a Ph.D. in political science, not physics.

Most hedge funds use quantitative analysis, fundamental analysis, and other traditional financial analysis techniques to analyze stocks. Most hedge funds do not use physics.

So how does Dr. Moors use physics to predict trades with 93% accuracy? How is Dr. Moors able to beat every hedge fund on the market?

It’s more of a “math-based” system than a physics-based system. Dr. Moors has developed software that detects an upcoming surge in stock prices for a specific asset.

That’s why the system is called Sigma Surges: it aims to identify the next “surge” in a specific stock market.

Obviously, most trading software aims to identify surges. However, even the world’s best trading software does not have a 93% success rate – or anything close to that.

To maintain its 93% profitability rate, Dr. Moors claims he uses a physics-related concept called the “return to equilibrium.”

Here’s how Dr. Moors explains the return to equilibrium:

“That’s part of the physics aspects of the System – it’s called the “return to equilibrium.” Just like the system detects a “Surge” when a stock is about to experience a meteoric rise… it also is programmed to detect when a reversal is imminent.”

Because of this system, Kent claims he regularly buys stocks “at nearly the exact bottom” while also selling those stocks “at the exact, perfect high…right before every one of them went off a cliff.”

In other words, Dr. Moors doesn’t just double his money every 14 days and have a 93% success rate: he also times the market perfectly every time. This skill will inevitably help Dr. Moors become the richest man on the planet in the near future.

The sales page vaguely mentions things like the Sharpe Ratio, a $40,000 computer used to create the system, and other facts. But it’s hard to verify any of this data.

Who is Dr. Kent Moors?

Sigma Surges seems more of a scam than a legitimate investment opportunity if you’re like most people. No proprietary trading software has a 93% success rate, and no trading software can reliably double your money every 14 days, so who is Dr. Kent Moors, and what does he do?

image9

The Sigma Trader website describes Dr. Moors as “one of the CIA’s most highly decorated operatives.”

Dr. Moors purportedly consults with OPEC and other international bodies. He regularly appears on ABC, BBC, Bloomberg, CNN, Fox Business, NBC, and other major media. His work has been published in countless peer-reviewed journals, and he has hosted workshops in 47 countries.

Kent claims to have a background in physics and intelligence. He spent 40 years with the CIA, earning a Distinguished Intelligence Cross during his career.

That all sounds good, but many of these claims seem to be exaggerated.

As Kent’s LinkedIn page explains, he graduated from Northern Illinois University with a Ph.D. in Political Science in 1976. Since 1991, he has worked as the President of ASIDA, an international oil, and gas consulting firm. He has also served as a global energy strategist for Money Map Press, a Baltimore-based financial organization, since 2010.

Dr. Moors may be really one of the best operatives in CIA history. It’s also possible he’s a political science professor and consultant who exaggerates his earning claims online.

To prove his system works, Kent invested $1.3 million of his own money into the platform. If Kent’s system really doubles your money every 14 days, then this $1.3 million would turn into a trillion-dollar fortune by the end of the year.

Sigma Trading Pricing

Sigma Trader is priced at $2,000 to $4,000, depending on the package you choose:

image3

Sigma Trader VIP Membership ($3,990)

  • Includes everything listed above
  • Includes two-year subscription to Sigma Trader

Sigma Trader 1-Year Membership ($1,995)

  • Includes a one-year subscription to Sigma Trader

As far as we can tell, the second membership option does not provide access to the Sigma Surges platform. You will not be able to double your money every 14 days, nor will you enjoy the 93% accurate trade predictions. However, subscribers still receive one new investment recommendation per week.

Sigma Trader Refund Policy

Sigma Trader does not clearly define its refund policy upfront.

According to the terms and conditions, you can receive a pro-rated refund based on the number of days you accessed the Sigma Trader subscription.

image2

However, the sales page claims that only store credit refunds are available (no cash refunds). If you don’t double your money every 14 days with Sigma Trader’s investment advice, then you can request a credit refund “equal to your entire subscription fee AND the second year of access.”

The terms and conditions also mention things like the right to charge a “$250 cancellation and rescheduling fee.” It’s unclear if this fee applies to refunds of Sigma Trader.

Overall, Sigma Trader is unusually vague about its refund policy given the $2,000 to $4,000 purchase price.

Sigma Trader Final Word

Sigma Trader is a financial analysis newsletter published online by Rogue Investing. The newsletter is led by editor Dr. Kent Moors, who claims to use physics to create a market-beating investment system.

Dr. Moors claims his system had a 93% success rate for choosing profitable trades during one test period. He also claims his system can double investors’ money every 14 days, based on the same period.

Ultimately, it would help if you were extremely skeptical when someone claims their investment system can reliably double your money every 14 days. These gains are impossible to reproduce reliably, and the poorly-defined refund policy makes Sigma Trader seem more of a scam than a legitimate investment opportunity.
