A warm Thanksgiving

Sequim Community Aid got big support on Nov. 23 at Grocery Outlet, where Boy Scouts and helpers (from left) Ben Newell, Brian Gruendell, Matt Willis, Joseph Larsen, Donna Tidrick and Michael Brown received 100 blankets for those in-need. Boy Scouts will collect again at QFC and Girls Scouts at Grocery Outlet from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. this Saturday, Dec. 7. Blankets may also be given to any participating real estate office and toys, food and blankets to the Sequim fire station. QFC and Rite-Aid both host Christmas Caring Trees for local children, too. All items are given out at Toys for Sequim Kids to families in Sequim School District boundaries with children up to eighth grade from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 19 at Trinity United Methodist Church.
