Douglas John Allison, 55, former principal and teacher at Mountain View Christian School in Sequim, may reach a plea deal for eight counts of first-degree child molestation and four counts of first-degree rape of a child for alleged crimes against two students.
A determination on Allison’s case may come at 9 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 4, in Clallam County Superior Court at a change of plea hearing.
Allison last appeared in court on July 29 where his defense attorney Henry Gasnick said he reviewed and accepted a plea offer.
Previously, Allison pleaded not guilty to the charges. He remains in Clallam County jail on $100,000 bail.
Allison was arrested March 29 after a Clallam County Sheriff’s Office investigation of the alleged crimes against a 10-year-old and 11-year-old female student.
Allison was hired by the school along with his wife Judy Allison in August 2013 to teach grades 4-8 while Judy taught kindergarten-third grade.
He was placed on leave and eventually fired by the Washington Conference of Seventh-day Adventists.
