Clallam County Sheriff’s detectives arrested 55-year-old Sequim resident Douglas J. Allison on March 29, following an investigation that he sexually assaulted a 10-year-old girl, Clallam County Sheriff’s Office officials said today, March 30.

Allison is principal of Mountain View Christian School, a Seventh-day Adventist school in Sequim.

The victim disclosed to Detectives that Allison had sexually assaulted her on multiple occasions at the school since the beginning of the school year, the sheriff’s office said.

During the ensuing investigation, a second victim — an 11-year-old female student at the school — told Clallam County detectives Allison had sexually assaulted her in similar fashion, according to the sheriff’s department.

Allison was arrested at his home on the evening of March 29 and booked into the Clallam County Corrections Facility on four counts of Rape of a Child in the First Degree, and 12 counts of First Degree Child Molestation.

Mountain View Christian School, located at 255 Medsker Road, is operated by the Seven Day Adventist Church. Sheriff’s Deputies are working in cooperation with the superintendent of the Seventh Day Adventist schools in the Pacific Northwest as the investigation continues.

The investigation, to date, has been referred to the Clallam County Prosecutor’s office for a formal charging decision.
