Paws In The Garden, the sixth-annual artists for animals benefit, is 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, Aug. 8-9, at Vision Landscape Nursery, 131 Kitchen-Dick Road, between Sequim and Port Angeles. The fundraising event includes education, entertainment, art and music.
Vision Nursery will supply nibbles and beverages.
Participating animal groups are Peninsula Friends of Animals, Welfare for Animals Guild, Olympic Peninsula Humane Society and The Northwest Raptor Center.
Artists participating are music by BlackBird, folk/easy listening; Jim Stuart, photography; Brian Buntain, fine jewelry; Ruth Cones, clay faerie houses; Walter Massey, copper sculptor; Jim and Jill, Olympic outdoor furniture; Joanne Moen, Auntie Jo’s organic homemade pet treats; Dana Hyde, metal sculpture; Heidi Beussow, fine jewelry; Jeff Becker, charitable arts; and Patricia Earnest, knitwear designs for people and pets.
Willow Pond Consulting and Intuitive Development Center offers animal intuitive, angel readings and a psychic medium from 11 a.m.-3 p.m. both days.
Appointments may be prebooked before Aug. 6: $30 for 20 minutes, with 100 percent donated to the animal welfare groups. Up to two consecutive sessions may be booked.
