Bridge girder deliveries bring closures to US Highway 101 near Sequim

Between 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Monday, Oct. 22, US Highway 101 drivers near Sophus Road east of Sequim in Clallam County may encounter several total highway closures, the Washington State Department of Transportation said today.

Each closure could last up to 10 minutes.

During the closures, crews will deliver 150-foot-long bridge girders to a construction site for use in a tribal construction project.

Drivers could experience brief delays and are encouraged to add extra time to reach their destinations.
