Each year the North Peninsula Building Association offers scholarships to graduating seniors who are pursuing a career in the building industry trades by furthering their education at a four-year college, junior college or technical institution.
NPBA also offers continuing education scholarships to those who have received a scholarship from the association in the past and are continuing their education in the building industry trades, and grants to teachers.

The 27th KONP Home Show, co-sponsored by the Clallam County Public Utility District, will feature 200 booths Saturday and Sunday at Port Angeles High School gymnasium, 304 E. Park Ave.
Admission is free, and KONP-AM will provide free shuttle service from the high school’s lower parking lot to the gymnasium complex. Food will be sold by the Port Angeles Kiwanis Club.

Four members of the Cornerstone Builders design and construction team recently returned from The International Builders Show in Las Vegas, Nev. The show had more than 250 educational seminars with 1,600 exhibitors.
Noel Carey, Lex Morgan, Jay Brownfield and Steve Rutz attended seminars to expand their customer communication systems in their business of designing and building custom homes and fine commercial buildings.

Sequim-Dungeness Valley Chamber of Commerce needs a new logo representing the unique qualities of this area. Responses to the proposal are due March 17.
Responses need to include a rough design of the designer’s vision of the logo, examples of past work and a quote to complete the request.

Matt Mustitch, computer technician, is a recent Sequim High School graduate. A member of the technical support staff, he is also the primary computer repair technician.
Amanda Litschke, office manager, is new to Sequim and brings many years of customer service and operations experience to the office.
Micah Laren, installation technician, has returned to Sequim after several years in Mexico as a volunteer. He works on service installations.

Third-generation owner Mark Murray and Murray Motors celebrate the company’s 75th anniversary selling and servicing Chrysler vehicles in Clallam County.
Murray Motors was established Jan. 14, 1934, in Clallam Bay and relocated to Port Angeles in 1944, then moved to the current location at 302 E. First St. in 1946.
The Dodge franchise was purchased in the early 1960s.
