Homeward Bound holds annual meeting
Homeward Bound meets 5:30-7:30 p.m. Friday, Nov. 20, at John Wayne Marina, 2577 West Sequim Bay Road, Sequim.
The annual meeting is free to members. Membership is $15 at the door.
The evening includes a short program showcasing the progress and plans for coming projects, election of the organization’s board and distribution of the annual report.
Hors d’oeuvres and a no host bar will be available.
Homeward Bound, a community land trust serving Jefferson and Clallam counties, began as a grass-roots effort in 2004.
Six new homes in Port Angeles and 15 in Jefferson County/Port Townsend are planned in 2010-2012.

extended
Sequim Open Aire Market has extended its season indefinitely.
A selection of local foods, baked goods, fresh fish and art/craft vendors will be in the market square off Cedar Street from 10 a.m-1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 14.

Sea glass company sells jewelry
nationwide
West Coast Sea Glass’s custom jewelry will be sold at Eddie Bauer stores across the United States.
Mary Beth Beuke owns West Coast Sea Glass, which specializes in sea glass jewelry and beach glass art supplies.
The company also has been accepted into the Northwest Art Alliance and will be featured in
Seattle’s Best of the Northwest shows and Sunset magazine. Beuke’s products were featured in Southern Living magazine.

Sequim, attended CanWest, a Western Canada nursery and landscape trade show.
Clark Horticultural is an organic landscape management company.

Builder named
as speaker
The National Association of Homebuilders selected Kevin Estes of Estes Builders in Sequim to speak at the 2010 International Builders Show, an annual trade show for the residential and commercial building industry.
Estes was chosen for his industry expertise after Builder Magazine named him America’s Best Builder for 2009.
He sits on the city of
Sequim design review board.
