Jan’s Country Garden offers U-pick organic vegetables, herbs and flower bouquets.
The garden is open 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Wednesday-Saturday during the summer.
During August and September, dahlia lovers can walk through the dahlia garden to choose and purchase tubers from more than 450 varieties for $3 each while supply lasts.
They also are available for purchase at Web site www.janscountrygarden.com.

NPBA connects
C & J Excavating hosts the Building Connections for July.
Building Connections is a free after-hours event for members of North Peninsula Building Association. The gathering is from 5-7 p.m. Thursday, July 23, at 193 Savannah Lane, off Carlsborg Road.

Summer pruning presentation scheduled
Christina Pfeiffer speaks on "Summer Pruning for Trees, Shrubs and Vines" at 1 p.m. Saturday, July 25, at McComb Gardens, 751 McComb Road, Sequim.
Pfeiffer is a horticulture consultant, garden writer and instructor.
She is an ISA certified arborist and a member of the Washington Park Arboretum Bulletin editorial board.
She teaches at Edmonds Community College and the University of Washington.
