A single-car crash on U.S. Highway 101 sent two people to Olympic Memorial Hospital early Friday morning.
Daniel Carter, 43, and Tearra Ristick, 28, both of Sequim, were driving eastbound when their 1993 BMW four-door car left the roadway near the Kitchen-Dick Road intersection west of Carlsborg.
The vehicle overturned and struck a power pole, according to a Washington State Patrol report.
Carter, the driver, was transported to OMC with head and shoulder injuries. Ristick suffered chest and back injuries, according to the report.
Both were wearing seatbelts, the state patrol said.
Fire District 3 members and Clallam County Sheriff deputies responded to the crash that occurred at about 2:30 a.m.
