Sequim School District classrooms came out in droves to support its graduating seniors the morning of June 14.
The SHS Grad Walk brought in students and staff from area schools, including Greywolf Elementary bussing in its classes, to the district’s track to high-five, cheer on, and share homemade signs with the 12th graders prior to their graduation ceremony that night.
It’s been a tradition in recent years on graduation day to celebrate the seniors while showing younger children that their hard work in school can be rewarding.
Sequim School District’s last day for classes was June 18. Look for a video of the Grad Walk on the Gazette’s website and social media pages.
