Easter at Trinity
An Easter egg hunt and children’s activities begin at 9:30 a.m. Saturday, March 27, at Trinity United Methodist Church, 100 Blake Ave., Sequim.
The event, for toddlers through sixth-graders, includes a telling of the Easter story, singing, crafts and snacks. Children should bring baskets to carry eggs they find.
Palm processions begin both the 9:30 a.m. celebration service and 11 a.m. traditional service on Sunday, March 28.
The Good Friday service, at 7:30 p.m. Friday, April 2, presents the Passion story.
People are invited to bring flowers to be placed near the altar immediately before each service on Easter Sunday, April 4. Between the 9:30 a.m. celebration and 11 a.m. traditional services, a light brunch will be available.

Easter events, services at Fairview
Fairview Bible Church holds its annual Easter egg hunt from 10:30 a.m.-noon Saturday, April 3, at 385 O’Brien Road, Port Angeles. A craft activity will be provided.
Easter at the church begins with a sunrise service at 6:30 a.m. Sunday, April 4.
Breakfast is provided. The Easter service follows from 10:30 a.m.-noon.

The offering received at church’s service is given to
the church that organizes the annual June baccalaureate.
Donations can be sent to Sequim Community Church, with "June Baccalaureate" in the memo line if writing a check.

Alpha course
Sequim Community Church, 950 N. Fifth Ave., offers its free nine-week Alpha course on the basics of Christianity beginning Thursday, April 8.
It serves as an open forum for people to ask any question about spirituality.
The Rev. Rick Dietzman, minister of adult discipleship, will run the weekly meetings from 5:30-8:15 p.m. Thursdays.
The group caters to new Christians but is open to all levels of faith and beliefs.
Dinner and child care are provided. People can attend any week.
