Bible study begins
A Precept Upon Precept Bible study, "Prepared to Meet Your God – A Study of the Book of Amos," continues at 7 p.m. Mondays at
Sequim Worship Center, 640 N.
Sequim Ave.
The study includes homework, discussion and a lecture to direct participants’ unlocking the message of the Bible. It is designed for seminarians and for persons who have not studied the Bible. Call 460-2113.
Tartans blessing
The Kirkin o’ the Tartan service takes place at 10 a.m. Sunday, June 14, at at St. Luke’s Episcopal Church, 525 N. Fifth Ave., Sequim.
Participants need not have Scottish backgrounds to attend. Tartans are plaid fabrics that provide visual links to clan and heritage.
Bagpipes will be played. Scones will be served after the service. Call 683-4862.
Medicine pouch workshop offered
"Making Medicine Pouches," a workshop, will be held from 1-3 p.m. Saturday, June 20, at Unity in the Olympics, 2917 E. Myrtle St., Port Angeles.
Patrick Adams of the Jamestown S’Klallam Tribe will present the program.
