Churches set sale to help Basque teens

From 9 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday, May 1, Dungeness Community Church and Sequim Community Church will hold a benefit rummage sale in Sequim High School’s cafeteria, 601 N. Sequim Ave.

More than 50 percent of proceeds benefit 11 exchange students from the Basque region that spans the borders of Spain and France. They will go to Young Life camp and participate in local activities and will have travel expenses.

Students stay with host families in Sequim from June 26-July 26.
