The city soon might have a new city hall site.
The council voted 5-2 Aug. 24 to enter a nine-month option to buy "Option A," one of two presented in a 15-minute closed session, as a possible site for a new city hall.
Councilors Ken Hays and Erik Erichsen voted "no."
Option A fits the city’s criteria for a city hall site of being at least three acres near downtown.
Hays said he didn’t
support either option.
"We’ve gone around and around and we’re back where we started again," Erichsen said.
