City of Sequim seeks a Planning Commission member

The Sequim City Council is seeking applicants for a vacancy on the City Planning Commission. The four-year terms expire in January 2021.

Applicants must reside in Sequim School District boundaries.

The Planning Commission meets at 6 p.m. on the first and third Tuesday of each month at the Sequim Civic Center, 152 W. Cedar St., with meetings lasting one to two hours. The only extra time commitment is to review meeting materials to be prepared for Commission discussion and to attend infrequent public meetings and events as an observer.

This voluntary commission serves as the City Council’s primary advisory body on policies, regulations, and capital spending related to growth and development. It may also conduct proceedings on specific land use applications such as subdivisions.
