Clallam County advisory boards seeks volunteers

The Board of Clallam County Commissioners announces an immediate opening on the Civil Service Commission due to a resignation and openings on the following Boards and Committees. AGRICULTURAL COMMISSION

Opening for a farmer in Commissioner District I, a farmer in Commissioner District II, an at-large farmer, and two non-farmers at-large

ANIMAL ISSUES ADVISORY COMMITTEE

Openings for a representative of tribal government, Friends of Forks Animals, Olympic Animal Sanctuary, and an at-large position

BOUNDARY REVIEW BOARD

Operates under the authority of RCW 36.93. Openings are for a county appointee, city appointee, and special district appointee

BUILDING CODE BOARD OF APPEALS

Opening for an alternate who must be either: a general contractor, civil or structural engineer, or architect licensed in Washington with at least 10 years experience; an ICC-certified building official, building inspector, or plans examiner, or ICC-certified fire marshal, fire inspector, or fire plan examiner with at least five years of experience

CHEMICAL DEPENDENCY/MENTAL HEALTH PROGRAM FUND ADVISORY BOARD

Openings for a consumer/past consumer of chemical dependency/mental health services and for a private provider of mental health services not contracting for funding

CIVIL SERVICE COMMISSION

At the time of appointment, not more than two commissioners shall be adherents of the same political party. There is an opening for a Republication, Democrat or Democrat/Independent. Applicant must be a U.S. citizen residing in Clallam County for two or more years who does not hold any salaried public office or work for the County
