The Clallam County Historical Society is honored to feature Roxanne Grinstad’s “Sol Duc Falls in the Mist” for its annual painting raffle.

Tickets are a $2 donation and the winner will be announced at the society’s annual meeting on Sunday, June 1.

Grinstad painted the falls in Asian style. The red square seals in the lower left corner represent her first and middle names, and the round seal in the upper right corner is the word Harmony and augments the painting’s mood.

Grinstad has been painting and sketching flora and fauna since she was a small child. Over the past 15 years, she has taught painting through Skagit Valley College, Peninsula College, North Cascades Institute, Burlington Senior Center and La Romita school of Art in Italy.
