Clallam County is seeking volunteers to fill 77 vacancies on 22 advisory boards and committees.
The deadline to apply is the close of business Friday, March 20.

Vacancies exist on the following advisory panels, with specific categories listed where applicable:
• Agricultural Commission (6 vacancies) — Openings for representatives of Farmer in Commissioner Districts 1, 2 and 3, an at-large farmer, and two non-farmers at-large.
• Behavioral Health Advisory Board (3) — Openings for representatives of tribes, private provider of chemical dependency services not contracting for funding, and a consumer/past consumer of chemical dependency/mental health services.
• Board of Equalization (1) — Opening for a representative of District III.
• Boundary Review Board (3) — Openings for a governor appointee, cities appointee and special district appointee.
• Building Code Board of Appeals (4) — Openings for representatives for two alternate, an an ICC-certified fire marshal, fire inspector, or fire plan examiner, an ICC-certified building official, building inspector or plans examiner.
• Carlsborg Community Advisory Council (6) — Openings for representatives of resident within UGA exclusive of any manufactured/mobile home community, representatives of resident of a manufactured/mobile home park community with in Carlsborg UGA, business or real property owner within the Carlsborg Industrial Zone, business or real property owner within the Carlsborg Village Center and two at-large member who are real property owners within the UGA boundary.
• Civil Service Commission (1) — Opening for an independent representative.
• Clallam Bay/Sekiu Community Action Team (3) — Openings for three at-large members.
• Clallam Bay/Sekiu Sewer Advisory Committee (1) — Openings for representatives of an committee member.
• Crescent Community Advisory Council (5) — Openings for representatives of Crescent School District Alternate, Grange, Area business owner or individual who owns commercially zoned property, At-large, and Crescent School District Student Body Alternate.
• Developmental Disabilities Advisory Committee (5) — Openings for five committee member positions.
• Fair Advisory Board (4) — Opening for a representatives of the Agriculture At-large, Port Angeles Chamber of Commerce, Arts/Photography and 4-H Homemakers.
• Homelessness Task Force (2) — Openings for representatives of tribal government, and law and justice system.
• Lodging Tax Advisory Committee (1) — Opening for a representative for a collector of the tax.
• Marine Resources Committee (3) — Opening for a representatives of Port Angeles City Council, Lower Elwha Klallam Tribe, and Marine Related Recreation and Tourism.
• Peninsula Housing Authority (1) — Opening for one representative of Clallam County.
• Permit Advisory Board (9) — Openings for representatives of architect, building designer, building trades, certified septic designer/installer, Economic Development Council, environmental consultant, propane/wood stove contractor, Manufactured Homes/Mobile Home Association, and ex officio-planning manager.
• Planning Commission (1) — Opening for a representative of District Ia.
• Port Crescent Pioneer Cemetery (1) — Opening for two committee member positions.
• Sheriff’s Citizens Advisory Committee (6) — Openings for representatives of Clallam Bay/Sekiu, Forks and unincorporated area, Quileute Tribe, MLower Elwha Klallam Tribe, Joyceand law and justice.
• Solid Waste Advisory Committee (5) — Openings for representatives of Solid Waste Industry (West Waste Recycling), Solid Waste Industry (West Waste Recycling) alternate, Tribal Government Alternate, City of Forks alternate and Business Community alternate.
• Trails Advisory Committee (6) — Opening for representatives of Olympic National Park, City of Sequim, Off-Road Motorized User Groups, U.S. Forest Service (ex-officio member), City of Forks and Clallam County Road Department (ex-officio member).
