Clallam Mosaic sets holiday dance for Dec. 7

It will be a holiday celebration (with a special holiday guest) in store for attendees of Clallam Mosaic’s monthly dance, set for noon-2 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 7, at St. Andrews Episcopal Church, 510 E. Park Ave., Port Angeles.

Cost of the dance, hosted by a local nonprofit empowering people with special needs, is $8; accompanying caregivers attend for free, though donations are accepted to defray the costs.

A light meal features lasagna with marinara sauce, garlic bread, Caesar salad, sugar free cream puffs and mini cheesecakes. Coffee, tea and water will be available.

Beginning with the New Year’s Dance on Saturday, Jan. 11, the monthly Clallam Mosaic dances will be held from noon-3 p.m., and the price for the extended dances increases to $10 per participant. A light meal will be served.

There will be no dance in February, encouraging participants to attend the Clallam Night to Shine prom on the evening of Feb. 7. Learn more about Clallam Night to Shine, visit www.clallamnts.org.
