Democrats’ Roosevelt dinner set for Sept. 29

The Clallam County Democrats host the organization’s 2018 annual Franklin and Eleanor Roosevelt Dinner fundraiser on Saturday, Sept. 29, at 7 Cedars Casino’s Club Seven in Blyn.

A “meet and greet” is scheduled from 4-5 p.m., followed by dinner and a program from 5-8 p.m.; state representatives Mike Chapman and Steve Tharinger serve as co-masters of ceremonies. The keynote speaker is Hilary Franz, Washington State Commissioner of Public Lands.

The event includes a silent auction. Proceeds from the dinner and auction support future candidates for elected office and help maintain the Clallam County Democratic Headquarters in Port Angeles.
