Robbin Eaves presents winter concert
Peninsula College music assistant Robbin Eaves will present a winter end‚Äëof‚Äëterm recital at Prairie Springs Assisted Living facility in Sequim on March 7.
The concert will begin at 3 p.m. in the center’s dining room, and the public is invited. The center is located at 680 W. Prairie St.
Eaves is dedicating the program to Arnold Friberg, a Prairie Springs resident, for his generous donation to the Peninsula College Foundation that allowed Eaves to continue her voice studies through two Elenor Friberg Music Scholarships. The scholarships provided Eaves with the opportunity to study voice with Mary Ann Weltmann and attend Wesley Balk‚Äôs opera drama workshop at Cornish College of the Arts.¬Ã¢Â€Â
Eaves began studying voice at the age of 11 in Atlanta, Ga., where she sang in several choirs, often as a featured soloist. She also has appeared with the Atlanta Symphony under the direction of Robert Shaw and participated in international performance tours in the late 1960s and early 1970s.
