Flamingo fundraiser

Sequim residents and businesses should once again prepare to see pink flocks of flamingos in their front lawns soon.

Plastic flamingos are expected to arrive in the Sequim area the first weekend in March, part of a long tradition to raise funds for a safe and sober graduation night for Sequim high school seniors. A zipped pouch will accompany the flock with instructions for having the flock relocated.

Funds raised go to the Class of 2022’s all-night graduation party in June that features music, contests, food, raffles, giveaways, games and lasting memories in a safe environment.

Donations are welcome and appreciated, and checks can be sent to: Sequim Graduation Party, P.O. Box 4, Carlsborg WA 98324.
