City suspends rentals

The City of Sequim has halted new reservations for city-owned indoor facility rentals effective immediately due to the growth in COVID-19 cases in the region and the rise of the highly infectious Delta variant, city officials announced last week.

Reservations are still available for city-owned outdoor facilities.

The city will honor reservations that are already on the schedule, officials said Aug. 27. Event organizers must adhere to all state and Clallam County public health requirements, including the indoor mask mandate for anyone 5 years of age or older.
