Needing one person to fill out its five-member board, the Clallam Conservation District got one candidate.
Sequim-area resident Robert Beebe was the only candidate to file informational paperwork and a valid nominating petition for the district’s Board of Supervisors election, set for 3-7 p.m. on Thursday, March 20. The polling location will be in the Armory Square Building, 228 W. First St., Suite F, Port Angeles.
All Clallam County registered voters are eligible to vote and voters who are unable to cast their votes at the polling place may request an absentee ballot by contacting the district office.
The point may be moot, as Beebe is the only candidate whose name will appear on the ballot and is the only candidate eligible to be elected during the upcoming election.
