County seeking volunteers for Conservation Futures board

The Board of Clallam County Commissioners announced last week five openings for the Conservation Futures Program Advisory Board.

This advisory Board makes recommendations for conservation futures project funding and long-term plans to the Board of County Commissioners.

The board is made up of one voting member from each of the respective three county commissioner districts and two at-large members. Board members serve four-year terms and should have expertise and experience in areas of farming and agriculture, family forestry or natural resource conservation.
