A Sequim man was charged last week in connection with an armed robbery.

Clallam County Sheriff’s Deputy Stacey Sampson said Jeremy Lingvall, 27, participated in the armed robbery of a man on the Lower Elwha Tribal Reservation on Feb. 12.

A man reported he heard a knock at the door of his home and when he opened the door a masked man pointed a gun at him and demanded he turn over his cash and prescription medications, according to police reports.

Nelson Blewett, 24, was identified as the masked man holding what turned out to be an airsoft gun, deputies said. He was charged with first-degree robbery Feb. 28 in Clallam County Superior Court and pleaded not guilty March 4. He remains in custody at the Clallam County jail in lieu of $10,000 bond.

Lingvall was charged with second-degree robbery March 30 and pleaded not guilty. He remains in custody at the Clallam County jail in lieu of $7,500 bond.

A two-day trial is set for mid-May.
