Diabetes Prevention Program is at OMC

The Diabetes Prevention Program at Olympic Medical Center focuses on making and maintaining lifestyle changes to help you lose weight, eat healthy and be more active whether you’re at risk for pre-diabetes/diabetes or simply want to improve your health.

The Diabetes Prevention Program at Olympic Medical Center focuses on making and maintaining lifestyle changes to help you lose weight, eat healthy and be more active whether you’re at risk for pre-diabetes/diabetes or simply want to improve your health.

The program consists of 16 classes beginning Wednesday, Jan. 6, from 5:30-6:30 p.m., at the OMC lower level conference area, 939 Caroline St., Port Angeles. Six follow-up sessions are included.

The program costs $160 and is facilitated by Vicki Everrett, a dietician and certified diabetes educator.
