Sequim Arts held its annual juried show from May 7-10 at St. Luke’s Episcopal Church. Here are its award winners:

Best in Show: "Lovee" the

Little Dragon captured hearts — and the top award. Titled

"Tight Squeeze" and done by artist Viva Jones, Sequim, it is a large ceramic standing more than 2 feet tall.

Second Place: "Ocean Breath" by Wanda Mawhinney, Port Ludlow –

Third Place: "The Three Stooges" by Betty Gardner, Priest River, Idaho –

Fourth Place: "Emerging" by Larry McCaffrey, Sequim –

welded stainless steel

Merit Award: "Going Down In A Blaze of Glory" by Saundra Cutsinger, Sequim – watercolor

Merit Award: "Storm Watch" by Lynne Armstrong, Port Angeles – watercolor

Merit Award: "Gorge du Verdun" by Carol Heath Stabile, Port Townsend – pastel
