Megan Breckenridge, a 2016 Sequim high graduate, plays volleyball for The Evergreen State College’s Geoducks.
Breckenridge is a defensive specialist and libero for Evergreen, ranking second on the team in digs (176) and assists (33).
She also has a team-high 16 aces.
The Geoducks were 3-9 in conference play and 4-14 overall heading into their Oct. 11 match against St. Martin’s University.
Breckenridge had 22 digs, eight assists and three aces in a five-set loss to the Oregon Institute of Technology on Oct. 7, and 14 digs and four assists in a four-set loss to Southern Oregon University on Oct. 8.
Breckenridge was named to the all-Olympic League volleyball first team her senior season at Sequim High. As an outside hitter, she led Sequim with 9.4 kills and 16.3 digs per game in the regular season, helping the Wolves earn a class 2A state tournament berth.
She also had team-highs of 26 kills, 75 digs and 71-of-72 serving in four district games.
