Bible series begins; Dead Sea Scrolls scholar to speak; presentation about Buddhism

Bible series begins

The Bible 10 Topic Series begins at 4 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 7, and runs Saturdays through March 7, at Calvary Chapel, 91 S. Boyce Road, Sequim.

Brian Knapp will teach the Bible series, a non-denominational, 10-topic series designed to introduce the ancient biblical world to modern Western people. See the world through ancient eyes, hear the words of Scripture through Eastern ears and experience the bible as never before.

Scholar to speak

Dead Sea Scrolls scholar, speaker and author, Nehemia Gordon, also known as “The Wandering Jew,” will speak from 1-6 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 10, at at Calvary Chapel, 91 S. Boyce Road, Sequim.

Learn about the ancient Hebrew Gospel of Matthew, the Hebrew name of God hidden for centuries, and the blessing it can bring.
