Dungeness Health & Wellness Clinic board president Dr. Audrey Gift announced April 28 that Pamela Leonard-Ray has been appointed executive director of the Sequim clinic.
“Pamela was chosen from a number of qualified applicants,” Gift said.
“She brings extensive management experience, most of it in an educational setting, to the Sequim free clinic and will help us grow our resources to keep pace with the ever-changing patient needs.”
As executive director, Leonard-Ray will work together with clinic director Rose Gibbs and medical director Kip Tulin.
Leonard-Ray has a Bachelor of Arts degree in education from Washington State University and a master of education degree in clinical counseling from The Citadel in Charleston, S.C. She served as dean of the Learning Center at Trident Technical College in Charleston for several years. Her community service includes that of a volunteer crisis counselor.
Leonard-Ray moved to Sequim with her husband in June 2013. In recent weeks she served the role as the volunteer coordinator for the City of Sequim.
Dungeness Valley Health & Wellness Clinic is the Sequim free clinic that provides access to health care for the underserved in the community and promotes wellness.
